No shops and no homes: the colonists landed at Port Bopec, claimed land and build their own. The colony store in Rincon holds a year's reserve of maize, sorghum and water, one ration a week each, collected in person; grain is cooked into funchi over an open fire. A ramada is the first roof, a storehouse keeps the food from animals and thieves, a kas di bara is home. Everything else comes in through the port, which buys what the island makes.
